Ordered this in 2013. Now in 2019, remains by far and away the best razor I’ve used. In fact, the only razor I ever plan on owning. Incredibly well made, very good price (pays for itself after switching from those dreadful cartridge toys). Very close shave, and recaptures the art of a patient shave as masculine self-care instead of the rush rush rush of life. THIS is the best a man can get.
Having never used a safety razor before I was amazed how close a shave it was and how easy it was to use. Delivery was quick but I would suggest having an option other than An Post delivery. Also comes with 5 blades. Recommend this product highly.

Great product, nice weight to it, excellent finish on the steel all smooth and nothing out of place.
First DE razor, so can't compare to others. For me, it's easy to shave with, and I nick myself way less often than with cartridge razors despite being new at this.
Simple elegance and beautifully crafted. Nicely weighted which feels 'light' in my hand. With the supplied Feather blades shaving is an experience and I love the overall feel of my skin after a shave. Highly recommended.

Before I bought the Edwin Jagger DE89L, I decided to read up on all the reviews on shaving.ie and a few various other sites. The Edwin Jagger DE89L razor is not only a work of art. It gets the job done with least amount of effort. I found it is weighted just right and shaves extremely close. My old DE razor Not an E Jagger would leave me with razor burn but the DE89L doesn't. Plus it comes with a pack of 5 Feather blades! Shaving.ie delivered my order in a very quick and well protected packaging. I have bought several Items from them and would recommend them to everyone.
