    I bought this plate to replace my previous R41 plate, which snapped from the handle when it dropped on the floor, leaving part of it stuck in the handle. This plate works with the R41 open comb and can work with the R89, which I also have. It's good quality, no doubt about it and will last for ages, providing you clean and dry your razor after every shave to maintain it's longevity.

    Out of over 30+ DE razors I own/used, the R41 is my go to when I have that tough, thick 3 day stubble. This plate with a matching R41 head is the best bang for your buck out there today!
