Practical Alum tube
I used to have the Osma block, which was smoother on your face than this, but I didn't like the corners and it was harder to hold, so the inevitable happened and it smashed in the basin. So far so good with this one, which is much better to handle I think. It's very big so good as an underarm deodorant, however I will get a smaller one for travel. Overall, I recommend it and would buy again, I expect it to last years though avoiding accidents. Been wetshaving 6 months and still consider alum essential for post shave. Even in my thirties I used to suffer from zits but not now I use this, which is a bonus

If you are new to shaving then buy this!
I just recently started to use a safety razor and I was having trouble with little nicks and cuts. Now I use this after my shave. Just run it under the tap and apply to you face. Easy! It stings (its supposed to do that) but it stops the bleeding fast. The plastic cover is handy too for when you are travelling.
