When I received this razor the size of it put me in mind of a prize from a cracker, however in use this razor is an animal. No matter which blade I use my beard doesn't stand a chance it gives a fantastic close shave, even with a few days growth. It's tiny size even makes it a good travel razor. At this price the Piccolo is a sound purchase if you want an aggressive razor.
Had my 1st shave today with the Piccolo & very impressed. It is an aggressive razor but just let the weight of the razor do the work and you should have no problems at all. I used an Astra SP & Cella soap and got the closest shave since I've started proper shaving. I have a Merkur 15c & an Edwin Jagger de89, both great razors but I've got the closest shave from the Piccolo. Of the 3 the Piccolo will be the one I go for when I want that extra close shave. Great service again from here as usual.
Outstanding performance from a real bargain. Be cautious though as this razor's aggressiveness is only second to muhle's r41. All in all one of the most effective razors for men with thick beard and sensitive skin.
