Easy and safe to use
I'm new to Safe Razors and I'm very impressed at how easy it is to use (same as any plastic razor really). I'm a women and use it for legs and armpits. It does the job perfect. I love that it's zero waste and that I just have to buy new blades. I should have bought this 10 years ago !

An efficient shave of both face and head with the razor being slightly handle heavy and the lack of full knurling on the handle makes it a little slippy at times compared to razors of similar weight it still out man-oeuvres them thanks to the Merkur head over all a nice comfortable shave with no skin irritation or nicks

Best choice for a newbie.
If you are looking for a classic closed comb razor for upgrading you supermarket one, don't hesitate. Merkur 42c 1904 Classic Razor is made with precision, and I give 5 stars. Even a symmetry of the construction, which makes it quite a task to distinguish between the blade sides (there are some "white" blades) is not a show stopper.

Very well made. Good weight in it, and nicely finished off. Best shave yet!
