    Great DE razor

    Great razor. New to DE razors. Normally use a straight but wanted something for those mornings when in a hurry and the straight takes too long. Must say shave is just as close as my straights and no stropping :) a must for if you want a faster shave!

    I did not know that anyone made these type of razors anymore until recently. I did a lot of research before purchasing this one. I feel I made a good choice here. There is a bit of a learning curve converting over from the disposable razors. I still have a lot of experimenting to do with brushes and soaps/creams, but after a few weeks of using this one, I'm getting the best shaves of my life(I'm 41 years old). Solid construction, good weight.

    I had the best shaving experience today. Yes, with my Mühle R89. I was already using DE razors for about 2 years now. 2 very painful and stressful years. I tried 3rd party (unknown brands) DE razors and even two known ones (I won't write the brand names, but they are very known). And neither one of these 5 DE razors is as good and quality as Mühle R89. It could be seen almost on first sight. From the build quality, machining work, precision in making and so on. It seems I will have this razor for quite long time, but next purchase, I know which manufacturer it will be. Mühle. Thanks shaving.ie for very quick delivery and good service.

    This is my first DE razor, so I can only compare it to the crappy big brand multi blade ones: But Muhle R89 is great, it has every thing I need, its well built what more can I ask for?

    Firstly I have to say this Razor looks great and the minute you pick it up you know it is quality. It comes in a nice presentation box and would make a great gift. It came with a few sample blades. I tried Derby blades first and it gives a great shave. No going back to disposables. I'm a convert.
