Proraso Pre Post Shave Barber Size

I use this as a pre shave rather than as an after shave. Applying it before shaving cream it certainly makes shaving easier and since using it I have never suffered from a shaving rash and it definitely softens up my bristle. Shaving is altogether more difficult when I don't use it. I highly recommend this product and it should be part of your shaving regime.

Been using Proraso pre-shave for years. Works like a charm and really softens the bristles. Proraso products are a fraction of more expensive products but work just as well if not better. Shaving.ie - top class service , top class company.

I've been using this for a few years, since I switched to DE shaving. I find it great as a pre-shave product. It makes the razor glide over your face better than just the soap alone, and I definitely get a closer shave using this. Highly recommend you give it a go. This is an indispensable product for shaving. It is THE essential product in the Proraso range (and they are all good). I love the Proraso brand livery. The fresh smell of eucalyptus and menthol in this cream is powerful and it's a precursor of the cold sensation of the application of the cream to the face. And yes it is a Pre-Shave AND a Post-Shave cream. You apply it as an undercoat before lathering the face so it prepares the beard for the soap and facilitates a smoother glide of the blade. And then after the shave (and after a rub and rinse of Alum), you apply it sparingly to a still wet face for a really fresh healing sensation for a minute or two before the final rinse and dry. I would not be without this product and I'd trade any other shaving aid (apart from a sharp blade) before I'd surrender this one. This 300ml tub is better value than the more common 100ml jar, and it still looks great on the shelf. The larger tub can be hard to find, so well done to Shaving.ie for stocking it!
