Awesome brush, great price
I use all the major brands of boar, and to me, the Semogues are the top of the heap. This one is particularly useful because it's not too big. The knot is thick and just the right density, and the boar hair seems like a very high quality product. I can recommend this one very highly!

It is a Semogue
After using this Semogue brush for many months, I find that does not lose bristles, is not cracked, does a good lather and is very ergonomic.

Lovely constructed brush
I bought this along with a Merkur 23c, some Proraso cream and a selection of blades as a present for the father-in-law. I haven't used this brush but I did take a look at it before passing it on. It's beautifully made and the oak handle sits very well in the hand. It's a stiff brush in comparison to my TOBS badger brush but the tips are still quite soft. I'm sure it would be great once it's broken in and great for face lathering. The Semogue logo is on the base too.
