The Semogue 1438 is a great new boar shaving brush from the Semogue factory. It features a nicely shaped turned beech wood handle and Semogue's trademark classic colouring of off white, black and red.

Prefect for travel and a couple of day's growth
I love Semogue brushes. I have 6 of them! This is the smallest of the one's I have. It is a little lost in my hand (I have large hands) but the performance is excellent. It easily lathers up hard and soft soaps, as well as creams. It will probably be used by me when travelling or when I have one or two days facial hair growth.

Good brush
A good brush for the money, the quality of performance at a high level, foam on the face whips well.

A Bargain
This brush is such good value and breaks in nicely . Used in conjunction with Mitchell's Woolfat soap it is a winner.

alright
Its a nice looking brush for the price, but has started to loose bristles after shave number 7 or 8.

Every one is a winner
This is a smashing little brush. It looks pleasing to the eye, it works well, and its cheap. Do Semogue make a bad brush? Not in my experience.
