    This is my 1st Safety Razor so i bought the kit, great value, the Merkur 34c Gives a great shave, what a difference, the Proraso is also excellent to shave with, This is a solid purchase. Plus thanks a million to shaving.ie for throwing in a good few sets of Blades, Gillette, Derby, Feather etc., fast delivery , so ill be bringing my business here in future.

    I got the cheapest version of this kit and couldn't be happier. Shipping took one business day, so I was able to have a shave with it the next day. There's no comparison between these things and normal disposable razors, I had 3 months of beard growth and the safety razor went through it like it was nothing more than a 5 o'clock shadow. The only surprising thing was the small size of the razor handle but it's a heavy lump of solid metal and so simple and straight forward there's nothing that can go wrong with it.

    Received this in January and went for the upgrade to the Mühle R89 razor. My first shave was incredible and it has been getting better ever since.
